Westland Mall is a demolished 860,000-square-foot (80,000 m 2) shopping center located at the intersection of U.S. Route 40 and Interstate 270 on the west side of Columbus, Ohio. In November 2012, the majority of the mall closed, and the last anchor closed in 2017. A mixed use development is planned, and demolition began around August 2023.
When the mall opened, its original anchor stores were Hudson's, J. C. Penney, and local department store Lamson Brothers. [4] The mall comprised about 75 stores in 940,000 square feet (87,000 m 2 ) of floor space, with the 294,000 square feet (27,300 m 2 ) J. C. Penney anchor being one of the largest in the chain at the time. [ 2 ]
(The Grand Rapids Lazarus stores, converted from the Herpolsheimer's name in late 1987, were shuttered in September 1990.) In 1989, Lazarus' sprawling downtown Columbus flagship store became one of the three anchors of Columbus City Center mall, when developer Taubman Centers constructed a pedestrian skywalk to it over South High Street.

Woodville Mall was an enclosed shopping mall off of Woodville Road (State Route 51) in Northwood, Ohio, outside the city of Toledo, Ohio. The mall opened in 1969 and, after losing most of its stores in the 2000s, became a dead mall. The mall's interior was closed in December 2011 and demolished in March 2014.
