Translink is the public transport agency in the State of Queensland, Australia, and is a division of the Department of Transport and Main Roads.Translink was first introduced by the Queensland Government in June 2003 to orchestrate bus, ferry, rail and light rail services.
TMR was formed in April 2009 by merging Queensland Transport and the Department of Main Roads. [1] TMR manages Queensland's 33,000 km state road network, which includes 3,100 bridges. TMR also oversees most public transport services throughout the state, which it does through its agency Translink.
