Guys 'n' Dolls were formed in November 1974, after Ammo Productions held auditions for three young men and three young women to perform as a vocal group. The six original members were Paul Griggs, David Van Day, Dominic Grant, Thereza Bazar, Martine Howard and Julie Forsyth (daughter of entertainer Bruce Forsyth).
In March 2008, Bazar and Van Day reunited with the other members of Guys 'n' Dolls for several TV appearances in the Netherlands. David Van Day (born David Paul Day, 28 November 1956) is an English singer, songwriter and politician who was formerly a member of the pop vocal duo Dollar.He was also in the 1970s vocal group Guys 'n' Dolls (with his Dollar partner Thereza Bazar), and two latter-day line-ups of Bucks Fizz in the 1990s and 2000s.

Guys and Dolls is a musical with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows.It is based on "The Idyll of Miss Sarah Brown" (1933) and "Blood Pressure", which are two short stories by Damon Runyon, [1] [2] and also borrows characters and plot elements from other Runyon stories, such as "Pick the Winner".
The song was covered in 2002 by Irish pop band Six and was a number-one single in Ireland, where it was titled "There's a Whole Lot of Loving Going On".It became Ireland's best-selling song of 2002 and went on to become the country's third best-selling single of all time.
