the kits are ok, but you may need to do some upgrades...doors, windows, overhead doors are usually the bottom of the quality spectrum. My only experience is removing the garage door and installing a better garage door because the ones in those kits aren't very good. You should be able to take the specs for that kit to a local lumber yard and ...
Looking to build 36x50 garage kit from Menards in northern Wisconsin. Already priced out materials and cement foundation. (25k & 17k) Anyone know approximate cost to assemble frame and trusses only for Menards kit? Plan is to do finishes and roof ourselves to save money.
Matt Cremona on YouTube is currently building one of these right now, think he uploads daily (or trying to) Have it delivered. As long as you remember that the 11% rebate is store credit. If you’re paying someone to put it up, budget about 2-3x the kit price for labor and concrete in addition to the kit.

How much on average (Twin Cities)does a GC charge per square foot to build a house? If I could buy a lot for 100k, pay a GC 100k, and buy the materials for 100K, I could save over 150k compared to ...
Menards manufacturers their own steel and trusses at several of their distribution centers and can do some nice custom steel bending if you need it. If you have plans and a materials list already, they can help get everything ordered. If you want anything custom like windows or doors, they can help with those too.
I have built 2 of these Menards Garage "kits" and I didn't have any issue. I am not worried at all with getting a new home loan. I plan on buying the lot a year or two before building. I just want to get ballpark for what a GC charges to build a new home per foot. I appreciate your thorough response, but I am well aware of the extra expenses.
Oh_the_Audacity15. • 1 yr. ago. Okay, so I haven’t specifically done a home kit through them. But I was dating a guy when his garage burned down, and he replaced it with a kit from Menards. I was present for the entire process and it was relatively smooth: we went and scoped out the garages offered within his budget, grabbed an employee ...
Barndominium kit from Menards? Anybody have experience with these kits? We were going to hire out an Amish built cedar structure and finish out an apartment in it ourselves but heard about these Brando’s from my uncle. The price is right, but seems too good to be true.
