Carissa Faustina Etienne (2 November 1952 – 1 December 2023) was a Dominican public health expert. She served as the Director of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and Regional Director for the Americas of the World Health Organization (WHO) (2018–2023).
Under her leadership, the Americas eliminated the endemic transmission of measles, rubella, and congenital rubella syndrome.
