In Dark Purity is the third studio album by American death metal band Monstrosity. The first version of this album was released by German Metal Age Recordings (Turbo Rec. follow-up label). However, the label was a rip-off label and therefore Monstrosity later re-released it through The Plague Rec. as LP and CD.
When Jason gets into a fight with Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher), Sam helps prove Jason's innocence by proving Nikolas started the fight. Jason recovers more memories of his life hanging out with Sam, though she puts no pressure on him to remember. Jason saves Sam's life when she is injured trying to help Jason and Elizabeth's son, Jake.
The band released their sophomore album Millennium in 1996. Guitarist Jon Rubin was replaced by Jason Morgan and bassist Mark Van Erp, by Kelly Conlon. Following the recording sessions for the album, George Fisher left Monstrosity to replace Chris Barnes in Cannibal Corpse, and was subsequently replaced with Jason Avery on vocals in Monstrosity.
The group released their first album "Emerge" on Cat's Eye records in 1973, featuring the title song along with Kung Fu, Be A Father To Your Son, 6 other McCrary tunes and You've Got A Friend. The group relocated to Los Angeles and recorded a series of R&B albums in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
The album was released under Arista Records and it features some of Manilow's hits in acoustic. The Greatest Songs of the Seventies debuted at number four on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling about 113,000 copies in its first week.
