Magic Kingdom: Ang Alamat ng Damortis is a 1997 Philippine fantasy adventure film directed by Peque Gallaga and Lore Reyes. The film stars Jason Salcedo, Janus del Prado, Junell Hernando and Jun Urbano. It was one of the entries in the 1997 Metro Manila Film Festival, where it won as 3rd Best Picture.

The venture dates back to July 1995, when the Magic Johnson Crenshaw 15 opened in the Baldwin Hills Mall in the South region of Los Angeles, California. It was the first multiplex theatre opened, and was closed in 2010. [5] It was completely renovated and reopened as the Rave Cinemas Baldwin Hills 15 by the Rave Cinemas chain in 2011. [6]

Hollywood Pantages Theatre, the last theater built in the Pantages Theatre Circuit and also the last movie palace built in Hollywood, was built by Alexander Pantages in 1929 and opened on June 4, 1930. The theater was designed to seat 3,212, but it opened with extra legroom and wider seats, reducing seating capacity to 2,812. [4]

The Orpheum Theatre at 842 S. Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles opened on February 15, 1926, as the fourth and final Los Angeles venue for the Orpheum vaudeville circuit. [3] After a $3 million renovation, started in 1989, it is the most restored of the historical movie palaces in the city.
Later in its tenure as a movie theater, the Regent served as a grindhouse and ultimately became an all-night adult movie theater. The venue ceased its operation as a cinema in 2000 after 86 years. The building remained unused until 2006 when a local developer acquired the lease and used it occasionally for performing arts events. [1]
