William Warrington, (1796–1869), was an English maker of stained glass windows. His firm, operating from 1832 to 1875, was one of the earliest of the English Medieval revival and served clients such as Norwich and Peterborough Cathedrals. Warrington was a historian of medieval glass and published an illustrated book The History of Stained Glass.
While most of the work of Wailes' workshop is to be found in the North of England, other commissions came from further afield. The most significant window glazed by the firm, and one of the prize commissions of the industry, was the glazing of the west window of Gloucester Cathedral, an enormous window of c.1430 in the Perpendicular Gothic style, of nine lights and four tiers.

Gregory was born in Providence, Rhode Island to John Gregory and Hannah A. Gregory. [1] Her mother was a school teacher in Sandwich, Massachusetts and Mary worked as a teacher as well from 1876 to 1879, but soon abandoned teaching to work for the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company as a glass decorator, beginning in January 1880.
Window glass was produced throughout the period on a small scale, in the form of crown glass and broad glass. [ 3 ] [ 11 ] This was predominantly made from green glass throughout the 16th century. [ 3 ] [ 6 ] While rare in the early 16th century, glass windows soon became a symbol of increasing wealth and status.
