Thousand Islands Secondary School (TISS) is a public high school in the city of Brockville, Ontario and one of the most populous high school managed by the Upper Canada District School Board. Built in 1965, the school has been a part of the Brockville community for over 50 years

Comstock was a town councillor and mayor of Brockville, Ontario. He twice ran unsuccessfully as the Liberal candidate for the House of Commons of Canada for the riding of Brockville in the 1882 and 1887 elections, before being elected in an 1899 by-election resulting from the death of the sitting MP, John Fisher Wood. [4] He did not run in 1900.
St. Lawrence College (SLC) is a College of Applied Arts and Technology [6] with three campuses in Eastern Ontario, namely Brockville (1970), Cornwall (1968) and Kingston (founded September 1969). The school was located on a campus on the north bank of the St. Lawrence River in Maitland, Ontario, several kilometres east of Brockville. St. Mary's College (Juvenate) was established by the church's Ecclesiastical Province of Toronto in 1918 when campus construction took place. The date of canonical erection was September 5, 1920.
