The University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, commonly referred to as The University of Louisville School of Law [2] [3] or the Brandeis School of Law, [4] is the law school of the University of Louisville. Established in 1846, it is the oldest law school in Kentucky and the fifth oldest in the country in continuous operation. [5]
University of Louisville School of Law Susan Hanley Duncan is an American academic administrator and lawyer serving as dean of the University of Mississippi School of Law since August 2017. She was the interim dean of the University of Louisville School of Law from 2012 to 2017.
She joined Michigan State University College of Law's faculty in 2002 and served in a number of administrative positions. She served as interim dean from January 2020 to June 2021. [2] [4] She was appointed 25th dean of the University of Louisville School of Law in March 2022. [5]

Neal received a J.D. in 1972 from the Brandeis School of Law, University of Louisville, and was later named the 2006 Distinguished Alumni Law Fellow. Neal pursued graduate studies in Political Science at the University of Michigan, and later returned to Kentucky to begin his legal career. [2] Neal was a member of the Jaycees. [citation needed]
Upon graduating from law school, Beaton served as a law clerk to Judge A. Raymond Randolph of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and to Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the Supreme Court of the United States. From 2012 to 2018, Beaton was an associate at Sidley Austin.

In March 2013, Washington & Lee University School of Law ranked the University of Louisville Law Review among the top one-third of all law journals nationally.
