Lingnan University a public research university located in Tuen Mun, New Territories, Hong Kong. [12] [13] The college was dedicated in 1902 and offered a four-year medical curriculum. At the end of 1932, the medical center was registered and put under the control of the Chinese government. Furthermore, it affiliated with Guangzhou Hospital and Lingnan University to form the Sun Yat-Sen Medical College in 1936. [14]

The history of the university dates back to the "Leiyang Academy" (雷阳书院) founded in 1636. In 1904, it started its education training program. In 1978, it became Leizhou Normal College, and was elevated to Zhanjiang Normal University in 1991. Zhanjiang Normal University changed its name to Lingnan Normal University in 2014.
