Somerton is a city in Yuma County, Arizona, United States. As of the 2010 census the population was 14,287. [3] It is part of the Yuma Metropolitan Statistical Area. Somerton was established in 1898 and incorporated in 1918. Somerton's economy is based on agriculture, medical services, and tourism. [4]
