Dickinson Theatres was a privately-owned American movie theater chain based in Overland Park. It operated 15 theaters with 169 screens in seven states: Arkansas, Arizona, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas. [1] In October 2014, the chain was purchased by B&B Theatres. [1]
Harkins Theatres also built Cine Capri auditoriums at its Bricktown 16 (Oklahoma City, OK), Northfield 18 , [20] Southlake 14 (Southlake, TX) and Tempe Marketplace 16 (Tempe, AZ) locations. [21] The Southlake 14 location would close in 2020.

Opened in 2011, it houses two venues: the 1,800-seat Muriel Kauffman Theatre, home of the Kansas City Ballet and Lyric Opera of Kansas City; and the 1,600-seat Helzberg Hall, home of the Kansas City Symphony Orchestra. Both venues host a variety of artists and performance groups in addition to these three resident entities.
