The basilica is a Greek revival structure located at 8th and Plum streets in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio in the United States. It is dedicated to Saint Peter's imprisonment and liberation.

The Cathedral of St. Peter-in-Chains is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Peterborough, Ontario, and one of the oldest Catholic churches in Ontario. It is located at 411 Reid Street in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. St. Peter's was designed by James Chevette in the Gothic Revival style. It was elevated to a cathedral in 1882.
Its episcopal see is the Cathedral of St. Peter-in-Chains in Peterborough, Ontario. On March 10, 2017, Pope Francis named former Hamilton Auxiliary Bishop Daniel J. Miehm as the new Bishop of Peterborough. [1]
