Sales of TV Guide began to reverse course with the 4–10 September 1953, "Fall Preview" issue, which had an average circulation of 1,746,327 copies; by the mid-1960s, TV Guide had become the most widely circulated magazine in the United States. [9] Print TV listings were a common feature of newspapers from the late-1950s to the mid-2000s.
