William James Dally (born August 17, 1960) is an American computer scientist and educator. [1] [2] He is the chief scientist and senior vice president at Nvidia and was previously a professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Stanford University and MIT.
They were founded by James J. Spilker Jr. (1933–2019), P. Marshall Fitzgerald (1933–2013), [1] and John W. Brownie in 1973, [2] reincorporated in Delaware and went public in 1988, and were sold to several buyers (Intel, Newbridge/Alcatel, Dii/Flextronics, and ITT Industries) in 1999.
