Roma Victor is an MMORPG based on the Roman Empire in Great Britain in the latter half of the 2nd century. Roma Victor was developed by RedBedlam Ltd. of Brighton and Hove, England. The in-game world was a 30x30km representation of a section along Hadrian's Wall, including several small villages and Roman forts.
The game is divided into six chapters: Herculaneum: You have to advance from slave to citizen and escape the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Rome 1: You have to warn the emperor about a planned assassination. Britain: You have to fight the Britons. Rome 2: You have to be elected to the Roman Senate. Egypt: You have to protect Cleopatra.
The Conquerors is a package of two board wargames published by Simulations Publications Inc. (SPI) in 1977. One game, The Macedonians, simulates the invasion of Persia by Alexander the Great, and the other, The Romans, covers the eastward expansion of the Roman Empire following the Second Punic War.
The game was released in June 2011 with a retail purchase and subscription. In early 2012 the game switched to a free-to-play model with a $10 purchase of the game. The game and its forums entered maintenance in September 2012 and never fully returned, although some existing players were still able to log into game servers afterwards.
