The Space Adventure – Cobra: The Legendary Bandit (コブラII: 伝説の男, Kobura II: Densetsu no Otoko), also known simply as The Space Adventure, is an adventure game released for the PC Engine CD-ROM² System in 1991 in Japan and for the Sega CD in 1995 in North America and Europe.
Cobra Club was developed by Robert Yang, a queer independent game developer and academic associated with the New York University Game Center. [4] The game is part of a series created by Yang with a focus on gay culture and sex, including other works such as Hurt Me Plenty (2014), Rinse and Repeat (2015), and The Tearoom (2017). [5]
Amidst the several games released—most of them are Japan-exclusive products—Cobra and Cobra II were developed by French company Loriciels while The Space Adventure is the only Japanese game published in North America and Europe. An upcoming Space Adventure Cobra game is expected to be released on 2025 on a worldwide basis.
