Oxbow Regional Park is a 1,000-acre (4.0 km 2) natural area park located ten miles (16 km) southeast of Troutdale along the Sandy River in the U.S. state of Oregon. Owned and operated by Metro regional government, it hosts a yearly festival celebrating salmon.
These trails are well maintained and marked for your convenience. Trailhead maps are posted, and additional maps can be picked up at the nature center. Campers can enjoy a peaceful stay at the Oxbow campground. This area has 29 campsites available, with modern restrooms and showers. There are 10 electrical sites, 3 of these are ADA accessible.

In 1976, the campsites were removed, and the property was deemed surplus the next year. Much of the site's land was exchanged with a timber company for territory at Sinkyone Wilderness State Park in 1984. As of May 2021, Reynolds Wayside Campground contains 38 acres (15 ha) of land, including area for hiking and access to the Eel River.

Downstream on the Tuolumne River are three more spectacular waterfalls, Waterwheel Falls, California Falls, and Le Conte Falls. The May Lake High Sierra Camp is a hiking distance of 8.6 miles (13.8 km) southwest, and Tuolumne Meadows Lodge is a hiking distance of 7.6 miles (12.2 km) southeast.
Approximately 2,000 campsites, several boat launches and a marina are located around the dam. The parks located on the impoundment lake of the Hardy Dam include, Newaygo County's Sandy Beach Park, Newaygo State Park , Mecosta County's Brower Park, and Big Prairie Township's Ox Bow Park and Big Bend Park.
The state parks offer many outdoor recreation opportunities, such as overnight camping facilities, day hiking, fishing, boating, historic sites, astronomy, and scenic rest stops and viewpoints. Oregon State Parks celebrated its 100-year anniversary in 2022 with events throughout the year.
