In the Reference editor, you can add your citation, including formatting. You can make the reference belong to a given group, although this is almost always left blank. (This option is used to display groups of references with the "References list" tool; if you need more information, see WP:REFGROUP .)
Reference lists: You can make sure all references put between <ref> and </ref> are automatically put in the "References" section. This helps a ton, because the section automatically numbers them and everything. To do this, you can put {{Reflist}} in the "References" section. You can put <references/> there instead, if you want.
When your edit is saved, the text of citations within the body of the article will automatically appear in the References section. References added using the refToolbar can still be edited manually after they are added; details on how to manually create or edit references are discussed in the Manual Referencing section , in a later section.
On talk pages, the {{reflist-talk}} template can be used to add a reference list to a specific discussion. The template should be added at the end of the section that contains the reference markup which is causing the AGRL to be displayed. The reference list will be displayed within a bordered box.
