Edi Rama (born Edvin Kristaq Rama on 4 July 1964) is an Albanian politician and painter who has been serving as the 33rd and incumbent prime minister of Albania since 2013 and chairman of the Socialist Party of Albania since 2005. He was Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports from 1998 to 2000.
Linda Rama married Thanas Xhillari in 1989 and they have one daughter, Rea Xhillari. Since 2010, she is married to Edi Rama, the 33rd Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania. They have one son, Zaho Rama, born in 2014. The Ramas are an interfaith family. Linda Rama was born in a Muslim household.
