It saw Splash Works expand to 8.1 hectares (20 acres) [4] through an expansion south of the Mighty Canadian Minebuster, so much so, some of the track had to be reconfigured so a bridge could be built over it.
Vortex is a suspended roller coaster at Canada's Wonderland in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. It officially opened during the 1991 season. [1] [2] As with other suspended roller coasters, Vortex's trains swing under the track. On Vortex, riders are taken up through the top of the mountain and dropped at high speeds.
A 1979 planning document describes the section: "A trip into the Middle Ages is in store for those visiting this area of Canada's Wonderland. Rides, restaurants, boutiques and the 1,200 seat air-conditioned Heritage Theatre where live shows are performed daily, await our guests in the Medieval Faire."
