If replacing the key fob battery did not resolve the issues, then you will need to have the signal from the key fob remote tested to see if the key is transmitting the proper signal. If the key is transmitting a signal from the remote, then the antennas in the vehicle that receive the signal need to be checked.
Thanks for the reply. However, in my case, the new battery that wouldn't work measured 3.3V, while the old battery measured 2.99V, so the open circuit voltage isn't the issue. Of course, I don't know what the voltage was when a key was pressed. It's possible that the new battery has high internal resistance and the voltage is dropping under load.

Yea, just replace the key fob battery. I just had my 2.5 year old battery go bad. I replaced the battery then had issues with the fob. I replaced it's battery and both work fine now. Right after the car battery replacement, The windows wouldn't roll all the way up. For whatever reason, these issues all resolved over night. I have a 2017 also.
Just a mention, always check the battery voltage on the new battery that you're going to use, if it's 2.9 or lower its pretty much useless to your fob (yes a one point drop in voltage makes all the difference) find one that's at least 3v or more..point being, we really don't know how long these batteries sit on the store shelf and they can run low and you end up basically putting in a dead ...
