Wow, I only have three this year! 16-year-old will be taking classes at the community college. That, with his part time job, will be plenty for him. Besides all of our Time4Learning stuff, we are using Mystery of History (whole family studying world history together), Handwriting Without Tears, and Five in a Row.
The school system here only gave the kids a rudimentary one semester introduction to cursive writing in the third grade. By the time she entered middle school in the sixth grade her counselor didn't see a reason to try working on it claiming she probably wouldn't improve. :ymsigh: I'll take a look at Handwriting without Tears. Time4Learning uses curriculum developed by Compass Learning, who only provides it to schools. Time4Learning has purchased a license that allows them to offer it to individuals. Time4Learning has added the playground and reorganized a few things to make it a better "fit" for non-institutional use.
