Open Google Earth Pro. Draw a path or open an existing path. Click Edit Show Elevation Profile. An elevation profile will appear in the the lower half of the 3D Viewer. If your elevation measurement reads "0," make sure the terrain layer is turned on. The Y-axis of the chart displays the elevation, and the X-axis of the chart displays the distance.
Stock Google Earth Pro doesn't include contour lines. There are third party add-ons that can place a map over the GE Pro globe. You can find them with a Google search. Including KML as a search term helps.
Most of the 3D areas use a Lidar elevation that is pretty accurate when 3D is turned on. Some local governments have submitted Lidar data too, but Google never says what area uses what system. Beyond that, Google used a lot of different data bases when they built GE, but, again, Google's not talking.
Studio is exactly the same 3D imagery and elevation model that are used in GE Pro, GE Web and Google Maps. There are people in the Studio forum that are using Studio with Blender. I don't know the details. Why don't you look there and at some of the Youtube videos. A search in the forum might get results.

Make sure the Terrain layer is checked at the bottom of the Layers panel. Without that Google Earth is flat and you will see elev 0 everywhere. If using Windows, make sure the bottom of the Google Earth window hasn't slipped behind the Windows task bar. If you maximise the Google Earth Window that should solve that problem.
