    Access the TCM under the seat and check for transmission fluid contamination. If found, clean with carburetor cleaner. Carefully inspect the harnesses related to the CAB aka ABS unit.     I strongly suggest you get a sprinter specific scanner, especially if you plan on traveling to Baja. When the ECM cannot obtain the boost pressure it wants, it will go into Limp Home Mode. This sets the turbo output to zero causing reduced power. Common causes are boost leaks (small and large). Clogged air filters.

    I have a 2008 2500 144" and did an oil change last month. I fully drained it by letting it sit for a while then put in 12 quarts of Mobil 1 Formula M 5W40. After a half hour drive, I let it sit for a few minutes with the motor off and checked the oil level. On the stick the oil level was 1/4" from the maximum mark.
