Before we meet Daichi and see him play, the only characters we really have a good read on are Hinata and Kageyama, who are about as exaggerated as characters in Haikyuu get. Daichi's on the other end of the spectrum, being one of the most grounded and realistic characters in the series, so once we've met him, we've got a solid idea of the range ...
I saw a video titled “Daichi’s death in season 4” just as I started season 4. So I was anxiously waiting for his death to happen while also trying to guess in what ways he could die. Then I realized it was just a joke from this scene in season 2 ðŸ˜. It was the day Daichi died but a better Daichi has born.
I think he’s referring to the fact the team was carried by first years which is just wrong. Asahi was a huge cannon for them Daichi was huge for the defence of karasuno and they wouldn’t make it to nationals without them two. Even the second years helped a lot. The ace behind the scenes tanaka was huge without his mental strength they would ...
I always felt like Daichi almost have the same feeling towards Michimiya. The way he accepted the good luck charm at one of their matches and waving it to her after they won, peak devastation. I would have liked them to be together, but in the manga there's no evidence of that, unfortunately. : (.
3. Award. messybixch. • 2 yr. ago. In Japan, the family name (last name/surname) comes first and the given name (first name) comes after it. Sawamura is his last name and Daichi is his first name. Same case for Asahi (Azumane is his last name and Asahi is his first name) 2. Award.
They laugh about the dramatic scene, were everybody goes around him while he is laying down on the floor and everybody calls him and then the scene is cut. Everything appears very serious and drastic while the situation is actually not that bad. That's why everybody says Daichi is dead as a joke referring to that scene. 72.
Asahi is also referred to by his first name, so Daichi isn't alone in that. There are some people who call him Sawamura though (Kageyama, Yui, Kuroo, etc) Tsukki calls Asahi by last name - "Azumane-san!" I know that the 3rd years say "Asahi" and the 2nd and 1st years call him "Asahi-san". Familiarity, preference, etc. I love it!
Karasuno (Yamaguchi & Yachi = only child) Hinata Shoyo: 1 little sister (Natsu) Kageyama Tobio: 1 sister (Miwa) Sawamura Daichi: 2 little sisters and 2 little brothers. Sugawara Koushi: 1 little brother. Azumane Asahi: 1 sister. Nishinoya Yuu: 3 sisters. Tanaka Ryu: 1 sister (Saeko) Tsukishima Kei: 1 brother (Akiteru)
I'm not sure I'd say Daichi is quite as good as to call him the best at defense in the series. Assuming we're just talking about floor defense here (because let's be real, the moment we bring in blocks, Daichi starts to lose out to players like Nozawa, who doesn't seem to be too far behind on the floor and is far superior at the net), I'd still put Daichi near the top, but I think Fukunaga ...
Daichi was right. Okay so this might have been said already (I almost hope it hasn’t) I’m rewatching season 1 of Haikyuu and in the last episode the whole team reflects on their loss against seijoh.
