The Hoover Company is a home appliance company founded in Ohio, United States, in 1908.It also established a major base in the United Kingdom, where it dominated the electric vacuum cleaner industry during most of the 20th century, to the point where the Hoover brand name became synonymous with vacuum cleaners and vacuuming in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
In the United States, such vehicles were known as Hoover carts or Hoover wagons, named after then-President Herbert Hoover. [1] [2] [3] The Canadian term was named after Richard Bennett, the Prime Minister of Canada from 1930 to 1935, who was blamed for the nation's poverty. Cars being pulled by horses became a common sight during the Depression.
In the U.S. version of the show, the "Condoms" segment in Season 28, episode 1 is replaced with the "Rubber Gloves" one, which is a duplicate of the same segment in Season 21, episode 1.
