Bach Mai Airfield (Vietnamese: Sân bay Bach Mai) is a disused military airport in Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi, Vietnam, located along modern-day Le Trong Tan street.It was constructed by the French in 1917 and used by French forces until 1954; along with Gia Lam Airbase, it was one of the major logistics bases supporting French operations at Dien Bien Phu. Quảng Trị Airport (Vietnamese language: Sân bay Quảng Trị) is a military/civil under construction in the province of Quảng Trị, Vietnam, around 560 km south of Hanoi. The airport will be located in the commune of Gio Quang , Gio Linh District , 7 km north of the provincial capital Đông Hà .
The museum is on the edge of the disused Bach Mai Airfield. The museum tells the history of the Vietnam People's Air Force (VPAF) from its formation in 1954 through to the present day. There is a heavy emphasis on its role in the Second Indochina War and the Cambodian-Vietnamese War .

Tuy Hoa Airport (IATA: TBB, ICAO: VVTH) is located just south of Tuy Hòa within the Phú Yên province, along the central coast of southern Vietnam. It was built in 1966 for the United States Air Force as Tuy Hoa Air Base. It was used by the U.S. Air Force (1966–70) and U.S. Army (1970-71), during the Vietnam War.
