In occasion of Maserati's centenary, the limited-edition Maserati 100th Anniversary Neiman Marcus Ghibli S Q4 was the luxury car included in the 2014 edition of the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book gift catalogue. It is distinguished by Grigio Maratea paint over a Cuoio tan leather interior, forged multi-spoke wheels and black grille surround.
The second was the limited edition Ghibli Cup, which brought some features of the Open Cup racer into a road-going model; it debuted at the December 1995 Bologna Motor Show. [12] It has a 2.0 L (1,996 cc) engine rated at 330 PS (243 kW; 325 hp).

Ferrari was spun-off from their common parent company in January 2016 [2] and has stated they will not renew the contract to supply engines to Maserati by 2022. [ 3 ] Starting with the 2013 Maserati Quattroporte GTS , and following with the 2014 Ferrari California T , the F136 was replaced by the twin turbocharged Ferrari F154 V8 engine.
It underpins the 2013 Maserati Quattroporte, as well as the 2013 Maserati Ghibli and 2016 Maserati Levante (in the latter two's shortened version, named "M157"). [ 1 ] [ 2 ] It uses four-wheel independent suspension, composed of double wishbones at the front and a multilink setup at the rear, and supports all wheel drive.
A racing variant first appeared in 1939, with the V8RI, and a road-going version was later introduced with the Maserati 5000 GT in 1959, and later ending with the Maserati 3200 GT, in 2002. The engines ranged in displacement from 3.2–6.46 L (195–394 cu in), and production continued until 2002.

From 2014 to 2023, the same engine—rebranded as the EcoDiesel—powerd the Ram 1500, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Wrangler, and Jeep Gladiator; and in lightly tuned form, the Maserati Ghibli III. The engine won several awards including Ward's 10 Best engines of 2014 during its first model year of production in the Jeep &Ram.
