I am trying to reinstall Microsoft Print to PDF - tried multiple things and now believe the core problem is that the Driver file - prnms009.inf - is missing from the driver registry, so all previous printer install attempts have failed. (not sure how it disappeared, but the problem followed a reinstall of a HP printer!).
Thanks. This procedure reinstalled Microsoft Print to PDF but the printer no longer works, which is why I was attempting to reinstall it in the first place. When I click "print", I don't get the dialog box that asks for a filename and location for the output. The print dialog box simply disappears.
