I'm having this same exact issue. I can confirm that I connected via usb-c and updated the drivers with the Xbox Accessories app. It appears to be detected as a generic bluetooth controller and not xbox controller when connecting only via bluetooth. Hello everyone, I need some help with a problem regarding my Xbox One S controller. In the dashboard it just skips the selection, and if you try to move in 1 direction it will make 2 steps, going elsewhere and making the navigation a true nightmare. It happens with both the D-Pad and the analog stick. Why is it happening? Is there a solution?
One thing I did notice was when i hit my controller against my desk in sheer frustration, the controller turned on for about 5 seconds this time before turning off, but obviously I dont want to rely on hitting my controller in order for it to potentially work, as that could just break the controller.
