New York State Route 38B (NY 38B) is a 7.69-mile-long (12.38 km) west–east state highway located within Tioga and Broome counties in the Southern Tier of New York in the United States. The route begins at an intersection with NY 38 in the town of Newark Valley just south of the line for the eponymous village.
Ganargua Creek, also known as Mud Creek, is a main tributary which feeds the Erie Canal and Clyde River in Wayne County, New York, United States.The creek begins just east of the village of Victor in nearby Ontario County and meanders approximately 34 miles (55 kilometers) from west to east before emptying into the Erie Canal in the hamlet of Lyons.

Newark Valley is a town in Tioga County, New York, United States. The population is 4,097 according to the town's website, [1] while the U.S. census estimates it currently to be 3,604. The town is named after the city of Newark, New Jersey. The Town of Newark Valley contains a village also named Newark Valley.
The previous civic building in the town was the Moot Hall on the north side of the Market Place. [2] In the early 1770s, Newark Corporation decided to commission a more substantial municipal structure on the west side of the Market Place. The foundation stone for the new building was laid by the mayor, William Haslam, in 1773. [3]
