This is a list of England women's international footballers – association football players who have played for the England women's national football team. This table takes into account all official England matches. Legacy numbers were introduced in November 2022 to mark the 50th anniversary of an official England women's team. [1]
Following a UEFA recommendation in 1972 for national associations to incorporate the women's game, the Football Association (FA) later that year rescinded its ban on women playing on English Football League grounds. [8] [9] Shortly after, Eric Worthington was tasked by the WFA to assemble an official women's national team.

Millie Bright OBE (born 21 August 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Women's Super League club Chelsea [4] [5] who she captains, and the England national team. She previously played for Doncaster Belles and Leeds Ladies , and represented England on the under-19 and under-23 national teams.
