The hospital was opened on 1 July 2008. It was accredited by Joint Commission International in 2009 and reaccredited in 2012 and 2015. [1] The Ministry of Health and Welfare upgraded Shuang-Ho Hospital to the status of a medical center in 2024. [2]
Shuang-Ho Hospital is the newest of the three, opened in 2008. It is the largest hospital in New Taipei City. The hospital has a helicopter landing pad, allowing for 24-hour air emergency medical services to patients throughout Taiwan and to Taiwan's offshore islands.
