Murrayfield Stadium is a rugby union stadium located in the Murrayfield area of Edinburgh, Scotland. The stadium is owned by the Scottish Rugby Union (SRU) who has its headquarters based at the stadium, and is the national stadium of the Scotland national rugby union team .
Murrayfield is known for Murrayfield Stadium, home to the Scottish national rugby union team and venue for many sporting events. In the shadow of the stadium is Murrayfield Ice Rink, which currently hosts the Edinburgh Capitals ice hockey team and previously played host to the famous Murrayfield Racers.
The Murrayfield Stadium stop for Edinburgh Trams is located to the south-east of Edinburgh Rugby stadium, adjacent to Murrayfield Stadium's entrance turnstiles on Roseburn Street. Balgreen stop is also within walking distance to the south-west.

The Edinburgh Capitals are the main ice hockey team that are playing out of Murrayfield Ice Rink after it was announced they would be joining the Scottish National League from the 2022–23 season. The rink was formerly home to the Murrayfield Racers from their founding in 2018, until 2022.
The Scotman newspaper reporting: "after Murrayfield RFC and Edinburgh Wanderers FC merged in 1997, the old clubhouse on Corstorphine Road was sold and the £300,000 proceeds invested in the new pavilion next to the main stadium. Public sports grants of £125,000 and £165,000 were made on the basis of a wider public benefit."
