ꦠis a syllable in the Javanese script that represents the sounds /t̪ɔ/ and /t̪a/. It is transliterated to Latin as "ta", and sometimes in Indonesian orthography as "to". It has two other forms (pasangan), which are ꧀ꦠ and ꧀ꦠꦸ (if followed by 'ꦸ' and several other glyphs), but represented by a single Unicode code point, U+A9
The pasangan only occurs if a word is ended with a consonant, and the next word starts with 'r', for example ꦲꦤꦏ꧀ꦫꦗ - anak raja (king's child). If it is located between a consonant and a vocal, it doesn't form a pasangan.
Buda script, Aksara Buda, or Gunung script is an archaic script. Based on its shape, the Buda Script still has a close relationship with the Kawi script . This script was previously used on the island of Java (especially in West Java and Central Java ) and Bali .
