The AMG C 63 uses a similar 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 to the Mercedes-AMG GT sports car. Mercedes offers it with two outputs: 469 hp (350 kW) and 650 N⋅m (479 lb⋅ft) of torque for the C 63 and 503 hp (375 kW) and 700 N⋅m (516 lb⋅ft) of torque for the more potent C 63 S.
The first configuration is a naturally aspirated V8 with 354 PS (260 kW; 349 hp) that is used in the C 55 AMG, CLK 55 AMG, E 55 AMG (1999-2002), SLK 55 AMG, and ML 55 AMG.
