Alberta Provincial Highway No. 51, commonly referred to as Highway 51, was a short east–west highway in central Alberta, Canada that existed between the 1950s and January 1988. It is now part of Highway 12 .
The US crossing was also known as Knoxford Line and was housed in a temporary trailer. The General Services Administration deemed the US border station property to be excess on November 3, 1977, and it was subsequently sold. Carway is a hamlet in southern Alberta, Canada within Cardston County. [2] It is a port of entry into the U.S. state of Montana opposite of Port of Piegan. [3] Just on the other side of the border is the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Glacier County, Montana. Located approximately 23 km (14 mi) south of Cardston.
