Rival Schools is an American post-hardcore band from New York City, New York. For most of their tenure, the band has featured Walter Schreifels on vocals and guitar , Ian Love on guitar, Cache Tolman on bass guitar , and Sam Siegler on drums .

Rival Schools reformed in April 2008, [10] which Schreifels credited to the Gorilla Biscuits reunion: "I longed for the togetherness that defines Rival Schools." [11] They appeared at a variety of festivals [7] and went on a UK tour. [12] During a performance at Download Festival, they debuted four new songs. [13]
Walking Concert, his next project, was heavily influenced by classic British acts such as Elvis Costello, The Kinks, Syd Barrett, David Bowie and The Smiths. The band's debut solo concert tour in 2022, Act: Lovesick, began in South Korea and then expanded to North America and Asia.
