Woody Woodpecker (also known as Woody Woodpecker: The Movie) is a 2017 American live-action/animated slapstick comedy film directed by Alex Zamm, based on the cartoon character of the same name and produced by Universal 1440 Entertainment in co-production with Universal Animation Studios and distributed by Universal Pictures.
Woody Woodpecker is not so much represented in television and films, but more in other media, such as in the Universal Studios Theme Parks or merchandising. Universal has since produced new projects, including television series and a two live-action/CGI hybrid films released in 2017 and 2024.

Inspector Willoughby (AKA Secret Agent 6 7/8) initially made his first appearance in the 1958 Windy & Breezy cartoon Salmon Yeggs as a cannery security guard. He would serve as a recurring character for several more cartoons with Windy & Breezy, as well as with Woody Woodpecker and Fatso the Bear, before receiving his own series in 1961.
