The St Albans Centurions are a rugby league club based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. The club plays their home games at Toulmin Drive, St Albans and their clubhouse is in High Oaks, St Albans. Founded in 1996, they first played in various local leagues and the Rugby League Conference, and then, from 2003 to 2006, in National League 3.
After the 2006 season with other teams withdrawing from National League Three, St Albans Centurions also decided to join the Premier South. In 2012 it became a standalone league run by the RFL with the introduction of Summer Rugby in the amateur ranks. St Albans Centurions returned to playing nationally in National Conference League division three
In 2012 the 1st XV won the Herts Presidents' Tankard for the 2nd time and for a 3rd time in 2019. “Saints” are again finalists in 2020. The club also fields 2nd and 3rd XV sides which compete in the local Herts/Middlesex League (HMMT) Merit Tables. [1] St Albans RFC welcomes players of all abilities, as well as social members.

Next up was a trip to St Albans to face St Albans Centurions Old Boys on 10 September 2005. This proved to be a very close-fought game. In appalling heavy rain the game was tied at 22–22 with just minutes to go. The Hemel Stags are an amateur rugby league club based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.They were semi-professional and played in Betfred League 1 from 2013 until 2018. They withdrew from the professional system when their licence was purchased by Eric Perez and permission was granted by the RFL to relocate it, this would ultimately lead to Cornwall R.L.F.C. entering League 1.
