Gummo is a 1997 American experimental drama film [4] written and directed by Harmony Korine (in his directorial debut), and stars Linda Manz, Max Perlich, Jacob Reynolds, Chloë Sevigny, Jacob Sewell, and Nick Sutton.
In 1997, Korine wrote and directed Gummo, a film based on life in Xenia, Ohio, a town devastated by a tornado in the early 1970s. Forgoing conventional narrative, Gummo is a nonlinear, fragmented series of sketches written by Korine. Only five experienced actors worked on the movie; much of the cast was found during preproduction in Tennessee.
Reynolds starred in the 1997 Harmony Korine movie Gummo. He also appeared in the 2012 action-thriller The Aggression Scale, along with Derek Mears. Reynolds is the writer of the webtoon series Perish with illustrator Esfi Morales. [2]
