Thank You Allah is the debut studio album by Muslim Swedish singer Maher Zain. The album was released on November 1, 2009, by Awakening Records , with 13 songs and two bonus tracks. Maher's debut album is accompanied by three singles, each with its own music video.
Maher Zain (Arabic: ماهر زين; born 16 July 1981) [2] is a Lebanese-Swedish R&B singer, songwriter and music producer. [3] He released his debut album Thank You Allah , an internationally successful album produced by Awakening Records , in 2009.
The first music video from the album was titled "The Power" [1] (on Arabic "Bil'thikr") . It was released on May 6, 2016. The video was translated into two languages, English and Arabic
The video was directed by Mike Harris, who had previously directed "Insha Allah" from the album Thank You Allah. [3] The "Number One For Me" music video was released via iTunes on March 13, 2012. Performers in the video include child actor Massimo Loreti.
In 2012, Awakening Music took part in "Sound of Light" charity concerts. [4] In 2013 and 2014, the record label helped to organise charity concerts in coordination with Islamic Relief, Human Appeal and other charity organisations around the world with the help of artists Maher Zain, Hamza Namira, Mesut Kurtis, Raef and Irfan Makki.
