Panayanthitta Kunhiraman Nair (4 October 1905 – 27 May 1978), also known as Mahakavi P, is an Indian writer of Malayalam literature.He was known for his romantic poems which detailed the natural beauty of his home state of Kerala in South India as well as the realities of his life and times.
A collection of her poems written between 1985 through 1993 were published in a book form as Nandithayude Kavithakal, under the initiative of the Malayalam literary critic, M. M. Basheer. [4] The first edition of the book was published in 2002 and eighth edition in 2018. Death and love were common themes in her poems. [5]
