Years ago the nursing industry used bag balm on its treatment carts (1980's)I don't know why I don't see it anymore (I am a nurse now). But we recently aquired a Jersey cow from a Mennonite family who got her from a dairy. They have been battling her chapped teats for a year with bag balm. They are still chapped.
