Manchester Airport, 23 July 2024 – footage circulated online of an armed officer kicking and stamping on a suspect's head in Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport. GMP said in a statement afterward this was in response to a "violent assault" on three officers, who had been called over an alleged altercation.
The altercation, in the airport’s Terminal Two, allegedly happened after an earlier confrontation between passengers on a Qatar Airways flight which arrived at 7.20pm on July 23.
