Fruitvale Independent School District is a 2A independent school district based in Fruitvale, Texas . There are three campuses at Fruitvale ISD - Fruitvale High School (Grades 9-12) Fruitvale Junior High School (Grades 6-8) Hallie Randall Elementary (Grades PK-5)
Shirley Lane Elementary School opened in 2005. Six classrooms were added in 2006 to accommodate the rapid growth in the district. Shirley Lane Elementary is a grade 3-5 school. Zephyr Lane Elementary is the newest school added to the district, thus, changing Fairfax Middle school to a Junior High, serving only 7th and 8th grade students now.
Robinson opened in September 1971, taking its students from Oakton High School, Wilbert Tucker Woodson High School, West Springfield High School, and Fairfax High School. It was the second of Fairfax County's large "superschools," or secondary schools, which housed grades 7–12.
