The rules of the game, including scoring, are in the "help" area - the question mark at the top. A perfect pangram (all seven letters exactly once) is worth 24 points. The threshold for ignoring a pangram is either a 7-letter word with 3 instances of the highlighted petal (27 points) or an 8-letter word with 2 instances of the highlighted petal ...

A new Spelling-Bee-esque Game from Merriam-Webster. I was playing Quordle and got a prompt for Merriam-Webster's new game called Blossom (launched in March). It is an easy version of Spelling Bee and you can do their old puzzles as well. If you got to Queen Bee today and don't know what to do with all the extra time you have, that is a fun way ...

OK, kind of silly, but I enjoy playing this daily word game on the Merriam-Webster website, called Blossom. It's similar to the NY Time's Bee game, where you create words from seven random letters. The stars aligned, and for the first time I was able to enter Steelers to see if they would accept it.

Play on 4-player mode (sharing the controller) to be able to speed run as many events and outcomes as possible. Try to go for answers you know are wrong, or you know you haven't tried yet, just to rack up the outcome points. You'll go from averaging 4 or 5 new outcomes per run, to 10-15+ new outcomes per run.

It would be great if they explained this in the “how to play” info. Good to know why I’m kicked out of the game and can’t get past Solid. Not worth a subscription though. Merriam-Webster’s Blossom is a much better version of the same game and doesn’t require a subscription to play fully.

Tom Nook conducted horrific experiments in the 80’s. While it’s still classified, the result was a Cherry-Maple hybrid, able to produce three different types of wood, and sprout cherry blossoms in the spring but grow maple leaves year round, which turn a brilliant vermillion in the autumn.

Going by Merriam-Webster's definition, it would be very fitting. The main problem I have is that moonstruck doesn't convey the same sense of craziness as straight up calling her mad does, imo. So, as I said, "Moonstruck Blossom" sounds very peaceful, while its sinister nature is only really realized with context and a proper understanding of ...
