In Greek mythology, Deimos / ˈ d aɪ m ɒ s / (Ancient Greek: Δεῖμος, lit. 'fear' [ 1 ] pronounced [dêːmos] ) is the personification of fear. [ 2 ] He is the son of Ares and Aphrodite , and the brother of Phobos .
